‘The Times’ actor puts on clergy look

Iran artist Hamid Goudarzi acting in ifilm series ‘The Times’ wears Muslim clerical attire in his new cinematic project.

On social media, the actor shared a photo of his make-up test in a Muslim clergyman costume along with a caption which reads, “A film titled ‘Salaam Alaikum, Haji’ directed by Hossein Tabrizi.”

The actor also said the new flick will be a comedy.

Born in 1977, Goudarzi studied acting at the Islamic Azad University.

He started his career by stage acting. His first cinematic experience was a short role in the film 'Sohrab' directed by Saeed Soheili in 1999.

Later he made fame because of his performances in movies such as 'Left-Handed', 'Murder Online', 'Unfaithful', 'Checkmate', 'Women are Amazing' and 'The Fox'.

He is also widely known for roles in dramas such as 'Danny and I', 'Passenger from India', 'The Fifth Sun', 'Heart of Ice', 'Cold Fever', 'The Special Unit' and 'The Times'.
